He loves roses with a sort of passion, because while no human he has met has stayed around for very long, roses would never leave, and John and Roses are synonymous. (I know that Laurens is the one that's 3 years older, but John sounds cute as a shy kid. I also know this is probably crappy, and ive changed some details, such as Lafayette being three years older than Laurens instead of three years younger, and ive made relations between characters that aren't real.
