I took a hold of Daniel's hand when a kid approached me. "hey ma'am are you an angel?" he asked. "of course not why are you asking?" I asked confused. he suddenly pointed at my wrist where my cuts lay. "mommy said people who have red marks on their hand are angels who wants to go home" he explained. "where is your mommy?" I asked going down to his height. he hesitated and looked directly in my eye. "she already went home" he smiled and looked up. my mouth dropped and looked at Daniel. he was speechless. "well.. I have this red marks but I dont want to go home anymore. I used to but... not anymore" I smiled as the boy ran away when someone called his name.
