"Mate." 
He said so softly that I wasn't sure if I heard him right.

I tried to move away from his embrace even if every cell in my body was telling me to stay where I was. I wanted to get out of this weird and embarrassing situation as soon as I possibly can.

But he seems to have other ideas as he moved me even closer to him, forcing me to rest my head in his chest. He buried his nose in my neck, making me gasp again as I felt his nose move up and down my neck, which only made him growled,

Jasper Hart is a seventeen year old teenager, trying to survive high school along with her best friend, Rick. 

Though her unique name suggests otherwise she is like any other student, wanting to graduate high school with good enough grades that can get her in her dream medical college.  

Simple right? Think again. 

When school's said to be the most popular and mysterious guy, who she never even noticed before, suddenly started to show interest in her.

Things started to get more complicated when events from past started to reopen themselves and all pointing towards a certain popular and mysterious boy, who wouldn't leave her alone and also her best friend who happens to hate him.
