Princess On Fire

Arabella Simmons or "Aria" would consider herself as a normal teenager with a normal family. Although she never had a mom when she grew up, she lived with her dad. She never knew why her mom wasn't there, all she ever got from his dad was that it was complicated. She just turned 18 a couple of weeks ago and she never felt the same way before. Literally. She can touch fire, her eyes turn the shade of red or purple, just wierd stuff! What could this mean? What is happening to herself? She ignored these changes and met a new guy in school named Luca. She was immediately attracted to him. Her life went to an abrupt change when her dad was slaughtered right in front of her by dark creatures with wings. Before they got a chance to lay hands on her Luca comes to the rescue and saves her finding out that he wasn't what she thought he was. He was almost one of the creatures, only having lighter wings. He tells her that he was sent to protect her as her powers develop. Powers? What powers? She's normal?! Only then she finds out that she is far from normal. She was a half-dragon. And to make it more specific, she was a princess.
