Perry is not ordinary. He is the Ultimate destructo machine, a creation of Dr Eggman himself intended to obliterate everyone, most specifically Sonic, Shadow and Silver. But the doctor overestimated his prowess in his creation. Perry is taken in by the hedgehogs with no memory and more power than he can handle. If Dr Eggman get control over him again, it's game over.
