This story is based on a poem about PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) in returning soldiers from WW2. Its a condition that is close to my heart and so I wrote a short story and two years later I have decided to share it. 
This story focused from the view of a soldiers' wife, Katie, and how she is dealing with her husbands return and his psychological condition. 

WARNING THE END MAY BE A BIT MORBID AND I AM SORRY IF IT UPSETS OR OFFENDS ANYONE AS THAT IS NOT MY INTENTION.
