"Look, I can't help you." I bit out, clenching my fists even tighter.

He seemed to dance in front of me, fading in and out with the wind.

"Sadly, you're mistaken. You're the only one who can help us." He moved closer at the same time that I stepped back in question.

"Us? There's more of you?" I asked warily, looking at him straight on. 

"There are many of me, yes, as you so rudely put it." He countered, making me roll my eyes but wave my hand in apology.

"Do you at least have a name?" I asked.

He seemed to mull over many things in his head before he nodded once,"I am William."
