Everly Chapman was different from most of the family she grew up with. Unlike most of her family, Everly was a doctor instead of a bounty hunter. She was very smart, so it wasn't a surprise that she became a doctor. Her family was proud of her, even if she wasn't a bounty hunter like most of them. Everly had moved away from her family a few years ago because of her boyfriend. The two were engaged for quite a few years, but their relationship ended when she found him sleeping with her best friend. She was quick to kick his gold-digging behind to the curb, and he was not happy about it. Everly then turned him in on breaking and enterering weeks later when he tried to attack her and their daughter in their home. He tried to sue her for it, and in return, she sued him for custody of their daughter and won. He was never allowed to see the girl again, and the little girl didn't seem to care. The only problem was, after her legal issue, she was fired from her job. They didn't want a doctor that was going to cause issues in their hospital. Everly was distraught, but she had to get through it for her daughter. With one call, she found them a place to stay, and she was thankful that her family still loved her after everything that they had gone through. She just had to find a job that was willing to hire her...
