The stregone population is made of those who can do things supernaturally; some can wield fire, walk on water, while others can cast dramatic illusions to fool even the sharpest minds. 

The Palazzo Order of Arahn executes any and all stregone they find. 

Which makes life just a bit difficult for Ira Rizosa, a sought after stregone Shifter. With a single thought she can change her appearance, changing gender or hair color on a whim. 

This is quite appealing  to the opposing Kusovian government, who scheme to bring down the Order, with Ira in the front of the rebellion. 

But an unknown propechy throws a wrench into the Kusovians' and Ira's plans. Will she make it through the battle the same person, or emerge something new and dangerous?
