We all look at the sea and admire it's infinite horizons and depths, but the same is not felt by an Pirate who is sinking along with his vessel being consumed by the same waters he destined to conquer earlier. This poem is a glimpse of his last few moments which tend to summarise his life into a watery conclusion. (Also this is apparently my first and I tried to use simple words 🤗).
