We are all fighting a battle in our mind. The neuroverse fights to take over our universe by controlling our minds and forcing us to do their bidding. Jake Jones has been assigned to the new CIA branch MK ULTIMATE, which seeks to win the battle being fought in the neuroverse. This is a spin-off to my story "The Last of the Earthling Race". This story is rated "mature content" for extremely intense and violent scenery, as well as talks of and use of drugs and alcohol. It also features talks of mature topics, while they are never vividly described. The story contains content that may be unsuitable for young readers.

TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.
