Joaquin Rossignol is dead. He's a ghost, and the afterlife is a pretty gosh darn boring existence if you don't know how to move on and crossover, so what's a fanboy ghost like him to do? He decides to haunt a girl his age, but this girl is different then everybody else and Joaquin soon learns that she's hiding a dark secret that haunts her wherever she goes.

Lives aren't random sets of parallel lines. They're vines that connect us to one another. Read as these lives of the living and the dead are wrapped in a way you wouldn't imagine.
