Fallen Swords

Liqin is the Kou Empire's darling princess, a genius general groomed for battle. She's set to be Kou's next ruler. That is, until the Emperor reveals a little brother she never knew she had.

Liqin is cast aside now that there's a prince in the picture. But her whole world crashes when she stumbles upon her mother swiping a blade across the Emperor's throat.

To secure her son's position, the Queen frames Liqin as her father's murderer, forcing Liqin to escape death along with her childhood friend and slave Jin. Together, they lie in hiding, waiting for the right moment until Liqin can take back the throne.
