The world as we know it has come to an end. Gone are the days of late night bonfires, parties with friends, and carefree evenings with the family. Everything that once made us human has now been stripped away in an instant. This is the world that the human race lives in, this is the world of the reapers. Those who wish to stay alive must band together and face a darkness that consumes everything in its path.

Arri Carella, a young woman who used to dream of a normal life, searches for her younger brother in the wasteland of what once was British Columbia. Fearing that she may be too late to save her beloved brother, she ventures into the night and towards her own share of unimaginable danger. Challenging the creatures that lurk in the shadows, Arri discovers a newfound darkness inside of her own heart. A darkness that has left her vulnerable to the hunger of the reapers. Will she remain susceptible to the hands of the dark creatures, or will someone come along to show her the light remaining in her soul?

Benjamin Vonowitz, a warrior on Squadron 3 of the Night Talon Core has always been at the top of his game. Leader of his squadron, most valuable fighter in the Core, and an incredible survivalist to top it off. Not once has he ever let one of his warriors be lost to a reaper, and not once has he ever found something important enough to distract him from his goal; kill the darkness, restore the light. Suddenly, however, Benjamin is thrust into uncharted territory, the cunning of a strange woman, and the question of whether or not his physical strength can be translated to his mind.

As the sun sets the reapers play, a sick game of cat and mouse. Now, abandoned houses line overgrown streets. Human beings have become the prey, and they must fight to survive.

Night will bring you no rest.

"Last night, I had a dream the world ended. Half the population disappeared, and unfathomable eldritch beasts shambled out of an unending darkness." In a world with no sun and bloodthirsty creatures roaming the all consuming dark, the only places still safe are the small compounds that managed to get walls up before all came crashing down. Now, life is simple. Stay inside the walls, and you'll stay alive. It's not relatively easy anymore, though. With no one for company but each other, danger lurking only a few yards away from their homes, and half of their loved ones swept away in a mysterious event known only as 'The Vanishing', the morale of the populous is at an all time low. It's only getting worse for some, as their cities that are supposed to be providing for them are failing to do so. Survivors Wesly and Valentine aren't content with this, however, especially since Val's mother desperately needs life-saving medicine that the city just won't send. With no other options, the two journey outside the wall to study the monsters beyond, selling the information they find to the city in exchange for their support. While dangerous, they manage the task fine until one journey out they stumble across a disturbing, gruesome revelation that reveals not only more about the city, but the end of the world as a whole. As the duo begin to pull on the thread and tangle themselves slowly into its snare, they begin to realize there's a lot more to this apocalypse than they ever could have imagined, and that the horrific beasts they've been studying might be the least of their concerns...

Eight years ago... A chilling secret was buried deep within the government's shadows-a secret so immense it could shatter the fabric of reality. Earth was on the brink of a cataclysm, and only a few knew the truth. John, an elite agent, couldn't live with the weight of it. He chose to defy his orders, vowing to warn his family before it was too late. But as he reached out to them, he was caught. The truth was silenced. His desperate message, unfinished and lost, faded into oblivion. Present day... It's a quiet Friday evening. The sky is painted with the fading colors of sunset as Bucky and his friends gather at their usual spot-Sunset Hill. It's a tradition in their small town, a chance to unwind and watch the world slip into darkness. But tonight, something is different. As the last sliver of sun disappears, Clair's sharp eyes catch a strange red light flickering in the forest across town. With adrenaline coursing through their veins, they venture into the unknown, drawn to the mysterious glow. What they find is more than they ever expected. In the depths of the woods, they stumble upon a forgotten secret: a trail of clues left behind by someone who once fought to protect the truth. Among the debris, a letter was found with the name "John Ketterman" etched into it. Who was John? Why did he disappear? And more importantly, will Bucky and his friends be able to find his family before the end of the world? The answers are buried in the dark corners of their town, waiting to be uncovered, as four friends find themselves caught in a race against time... and toward an impending disaster that no one is prepared for. The world as they know it is on the edge of unraveling-and only they can stop it, if they can survive long enough to piece it all together.
