PROLOGUE Henry Ferguson dozes of on his couch after the usual tiring and boring day of school only to find himself waking in the middle of the night to a strange noise and the whole house being rattled. His parents had been out for the night and he knew that they had gone out for at least two days. But though he lived with parents,he was no stranger to being alone. His father was often going on business trips and his mom usually went with him too so that she could take care of Henry's father. He had never been scared of the dark or loneliness but as he walked out of his home due to the noise and into the night thinking that it was an earthquake, he knew that if he survived this night his life would never be the same. He stared transfixed with horror at the chaos going on in the streets and knew that he was never going to see his lovely parents faces again. People were running around wildly and he recognized some of the faces he saw as his neighbours. There was no mistaking the expression on their faces:pure terror. He was knocked down to the ground by the force of an explosion that had just occurred a few yards away from him. He turned as he fell down and saw something large hovering about 30 yards above the ground. He assumed it was a helicopter because people were sliding down from it with ropes. He didn't understand what was going on. The thing hovering above didn't look like a chopper. It looked way more advanced. The bodies which had slid down from it carried weapons and started firing as soon as their feet hit the ground. And he knew at once that their weapons and ammo was also advanced. He couldn't make sense of what was going on around him. A lot of questions started forming in his head. Why were they being attacked? Had his country gotten into war? Who were these people and what were they doing? Read on in this adventurous and dangerous book and find out for yourselves by accompanying Henry for the next few weeks! All Rights Reserved
