Don't be afraid to look in the mirror
Because every journey
Ends inside yourself.

Kate Reeves is a 15 year-old field hockey player and accomplished poet. After her freshman year of high school ends, she travels to Massachusetts to attend Plymouth Hill Field Hockey Camp, where she meets Isa. Isa is different than any girl Kate has ever met, and she opens up Kate's whole world. After the summer ends, Kate must deal with the repercussions of her love for Isa, and more importantly, what that means for herself. Kate explains her journey in poetry and a realistic narrative about what it means to be yourself.
