Naomi never really cared for her village; they had always been known as cruel and ruthless killers. She was like a butterfly in a group of moths, kind and sweet natured. But that didn’t mean she wouldn’t fight for her people. When the Mist ninjas attack she fights along with the rest of their warriors, she joins in on the fray. After the leader of her squad is killed while taking out the Mist commander, she is given a squad of her own and sent out into no man’s land to wait for the Mist’s counterattack. What happens when things don’t go as she expected? Will she leave her village to save someone she cares about?
This is a Naruto Fanfic (set in the Naruto world but not actually involving any of the series' characters), listed as a short story because it doesn’t meet the required 30 page limit for the Watty Awards. :)

It was all over for Hinata Hyuga the moment she saw Naruto propose to Sakura in front of the Ichiraku ramen stall. She should have stayed in bed like her instinct had told her, then she wouldn't have witnessed the love of her life proposing to the girl who called Hinata her best friend. Recollection
The war has ended, but nothing is as it should be. Team 7 is always busy and never see each other. Then they are sent on a mission to the Land of Winter to discover who is stealing medical supplies and killing off medical ninjas. As they all discover who each other really is, Sasuke uncovers some feeling he's never felt before and Naruto starts to see his friends in new ways. Strictly SasuSaku and minor NaruHina. Sasuke looked forward and gasped. A kunai was coming; full speed. "SASUKE!!" Sasuke closed his eyes. He waited for the impact. He opened his eyes to Sakura making eye contact with him. "Sakura...?" The kunai was in her back. She panted in pain. "Sakura...." He couldn't believe she flash stepped in the path of the kunai and him. She collapsed in his arms. He looked where the kunai hit.
