It's far into the future, 2156 to be exact, and about one-third of the whole worlds population is part cyborg. These are the new prosthetic, new evolvement of humans, new surgical devices, and most of all, a new weapon. 16 year old Bena's parents are part cyborgs. Her mom's leg was eaten away from flesh-eating bacteria, and her dad's legs were cut off from when he was in a car shop. Bena is the only whole human in her family and is proud of it. Then, Bena suddenly bumps into this dangerous, exotic, and hot new cyborg, Nathan, who is new in town. He wants nothing to do with her but to just be friends but she wants to a lot closer than that. Bad choice. Bena is now twisted in his vines of trouble of his past life and now his present. As they grow closer, they're bond ties to each other and romance builds. Though, how do you love someone who's emotions are mainly man-made?

But she's not the only one, there are nine others supposed to be besides her; two of which never made it past their mother's womb and one who's incompatible. What makes them special, is also what makes them dangerous. Ripped from their normal, day-to-day,school life, family and friends with no warning, they find out who they are. And why they're alive. But fitting back into that normal life they missed so much is proving to be hard. Especially for Maya, who has a tendency to get herself in trouble and extraordinary situations ENTIRELY her fault. (She'd rather die than admit that of course) Old life brings the problem of boys, unwanted advances, homework, teachers and of course, a boyfriend with she had a rather uncharacteristic meet-up. Scott, Sed, Andy are her childhood friends all the way with her in this. Almost all the way. They didn't expect her to change or to come back at all and they are having a HARD time adjusting to the new Maya. She's dangerous, she's hot and she knows it. She has done a lot in the past two years that will catch up to her and stuff after that which refuses to stay hidden. Controlling CEOs, sensitive boyfriend, an obssessed boss is just the tip of the iceberg. And I'm not even touching the problems at her school. Will all this unwanted attention put her in trouble? What do you get when you throw a dozen flying pieces of paper, a writer, a cyborg, a bookish tsundere, a steampunky clockmaker, a photographer, and a gay guy on a bicycle together? BOOM you get a story. These 6 boys happen to cross paths one rainy afternoon when one of them has their writing blown out of their hands and all across the street in front of a coffee shop. They gradually begin to learn more about one another while they wait for a bad storm to pass and experience a rather nerve-wracking event in the process. Later in the week, Ace, the cyborg hacker (and one hell of a chess player) receives an email from an old friend and learns that a virus is being spread rapidly throughout the nation that's heavily reliant on technology. The government and almost everything that's based on technology is being corrupted and there's only one facility that can put a stop to it before everything goes up in flames. The group is called upon to assist in the process since they each have their own unique abilities to put to use. No one knows if they'll be able to get rid of the virus in time or if they'll die trying. Who knew a few pieces of paper could do so much to 6 random strangers.Complete

Murdoc was looking for a few extra guests to feature on Plastic Beach, and decided he'd go into town and choose one of those usually dirty street performers to keep for a while, maybe have the featured, or maybe just to have them work there. Murdoc assumed that because said person would be performing on the streets, they wouldn't be missed and no one would attempt to search for them. The Abyss of Time
Twenty years after the end of the Cyborg War, the last cyborgs try to hijack a starship on its way to terraform an alien world. They want the new colony to be a cyborg colony in which they will rebuild their strength and practice their way of life. During the fighting, though, the starship is damaged, so that instead of travelling light years across space it ends up a billion years in the future, alongside a planet Earth that is near the end of its life. The cyborgs, momentarily defeated, leave the ship in a captured landing craft and go down to the planet, but before they go they sabotage the ship so that it is no longer able to support life. The crew have no choice but to follow them down to the planet where they have to fight not just the cyborgs but also forms of life a billion years more evolved than humans. Creatures that have grown tough and hardy in an attempt to cope with the increasingly harsh conditions that prevail there. As if things weren't bad enough, there is conflict among the ship's crew as they fight to decide which of them will be in charge and how they will meet the challenges facing them, and even if they survive all this they will still have to deal with the discovery of the ultimate fate that awaits all intelligent life in the universe...Complete
