16-year old Devyn Schmitt is just trying to get through high school. She hides her face behind her poetry book and melts into the crowd. No one knows much about her, which is a good thing for Devyn considering it doesn't lead to her name being passed from person to person, but when Devyn takes up a job at her local animal shelter she befriends a very unlikely person.
