Hi. I'm Amber, even though I might as well not even exist. I'm kept away, hidden from all society. My parents even had Jax after they had me, which isn't legal because I'm the second child and you're only allowed to have two. All this just because my skin is completely clear. See, everyone is connected to their soulmate in three ways; you get a freckle for every tear your soulmate cries, whenever your soulmate gets hurt a tiny cut or bruise will appear in that place, and, last but not least, the tiny, oval-shaped timer on their wrists counting down until you meet that special person. Mine looks like this: 00:00:00:00:12:09. Twelve minutes and 9 seconds. That might sound exiting, like this is the most important day of my life, but it's not. The timer's been stuck at that time ever since I was born, and I don't think it'll ever change.

This timer is a twin to your soul mates timer. You're genetically matched based on the time of your birth. It's just on you to find the other. . . Can each find true love before the time is up?
