Hi. I'm Amber, even though I might as well not even exist. I'm kept away, hidden from all society. My parents even had Jax after they had me, which isn't legal because I'm the second child and you're only allowed to have two. All this just because my skin is completely clear. See, everyone is connected to their soulmate in three ways; you get a freckle for every tear your soulmate cries, whenever your soulmate gets hurt a tiny cut or bruise will appear in that place, and, last but not least, the tiny, oval-shaped timer on their wrists counting down until you meet that special person. Mine looks like this: 00:00:00:00:12:09. Twelve minutes and 9 seconds. That might sound exiting, like this is the most important day of my life, but it's not. The timer's been stuck at that time ever since I was born, and I don't think it'll ever change.

-completed- Jack looked down at the timer on his wrist and sighed. In 6 days, 4 hours, 30 minutes, and 5 seconds, he was supposed to find his soulmate. Ironically, he had a Vid-Con panel with some friends that day. He often turned down the possibility that it might be one of them, and he assumed that it would be some random event. Possibly a phone call, or someone wandering on stage. He didn't really understand how the clock worked, all he knew was that the second your clock hits zero, you would kiss your soulmate. You can't control it. They may be in a completely different country, but your brain makes you fly there. Nothing gets in the way. Mark looked down at his wrist. He couldn't help but wonder who his soulmate might be, all he knew was that he'll be with them in 6 days, 4 hours, 30 minutes, and 5 seconds. ~~~~~ Hey! Legend has it that when you meet your soulmate, you and only you can see a countdown on their wrist. The countdown indicates how many days your soulmate has left to live. Your soulmate can't see their own countdown, only you can. So, what will you do with this information? Will you tell them their lifespan or keep it a secret? What if it says they'll die in a year? Do you lie to them? Ok, different scenario. What if you were at volleyball practice, just a random example, and you happened to notice some writing on one of your teammates wrists? So, naturally, you move a little closer to see what the writing is and realise that it's a number. Anyway, you ask your best friend about it and they say they can't see anything. Congratulations, you found your soulmate. Only problem is, you're both highly convinced that you hate each other. Life really be like that sometimes. How would you deal with it? I smiled and repeated myself to him,I said,"Will you be my boyfriend?",I said as I smiled softly. He nodded and I smiled brightly and kissed him passionately as I hugged him. He actually kissed me back. I could tell he hasn't been kissed like this. My heart dropped as I saw how cute he reacted. I suddenly kissed him from his lips all the way down his neck and made marks on his neck and smirked. He blushed and I said,"your mine now~",as I winked. *************** Just as I'm about to head through my house door, my phone buzzed. I checked it to see that I got a message from Ethan. My eyes welled up, because it was Brittany with another guy. I still ended up calling her to make sure it wasn't a photoshop or a lie. She picked up and said "I'm leaving you." My tears finally ran down my face. I'm glad my parents aren't home. I don't want them to see me like this. **************** When I almost walked off I felt someone grab my hand.
