Three kids, three gems, one strange old man. They had fun, normal lives. The lives of any kid on this street, or rather, in this world. But then it all became a game. They found the gems, the crystals of power. The small gems are unknown, though one must know. The old man. When they find the gems, their lives shift. Their "waking up, eating, playing" is over. They must accept it. But it all happened so suddenly. . . These kids must face the dangers that lurk in the dark corners of this world. They must fight, they must travel, and most importantly, they must unleash the power scratching beneath their hearts. They must answer the call. . . and become the team they were destined to be. Sure, they don't want anything to do with this supernatural stuff. But sometimes, take a chance. Step forward, be brave, and fight gods. But then again. . . there's something wrong with the story the old man tells. Wasn't that just a bedtime story? Y'know, how the man is proud of what he made, but he gets locked away for it. It teaches kids to "think twice." But, truthfully, these kids needed to keep that mural in mind as they met the old man. Seriously. - *The idea for this story originated from an imaginary game my old friend and I would play when were kids. I write about that to this day, even though you'd think I'd lose those moments because of life. But. . . nope. I used to love that game; it always made my day. But hey, old friend, where ever you are, thank you. My urge to write grew from that awesome game. Now I'm here, making my way. If only she was by my side again. . . I'd do anything to have her back. Whatever. Somethings or people we love must depart sometimes, even if it shatters your heart. Just live life. Oh, oops, I didn't mean to go that far. Too late now, eh?
