They say eyes are the window to our souls- I always liked that idea.
Life is never easy and it can skyrocket and fall to dark depths, always an unexpected roller-coaster that can leave our heads spinning, heart thumping and hands shaking. But with a supportive and understanding group of friends, everything seems brighter, you learn to dance in the rain and laugh at the thrill of life. So, I thought it was about time I expressed my gratitude for my beautiful and truly amazing friends, which I have attempted to put into words in this string of metaphors. Each chapter is one, very dear friend and a collaboration of the scenes I see in their vibrant eyes.
To protect their privacy, I have used false names (have fun guessing who's who guys!)

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. Passion turned her eyes into orbs of the brightest fire, and in them I read clearly that she would fight to the very last tear for her life. She would not let the world break her.
