After the failing of the governments across the nation in the late 20th century, they changed it. everyone fell under one group of dictators, and were forced to live in the tyranny, which was named Brokenstoke. A rebel group, who call themselves The Usindile slowly began to form. Gathering information on whatever relevant documents they could, in a massive plan to over throw the government. Like many saw through, the revolution did not work, and a specially made island was built for the rebels that had been caught. Yet years later, the group is back for more, and this time, they are much stronger. Cressida Roslyn has never known who she was. With no memory of her life before the age of six, and no one who seems to know her, she's been lost for thirteen years. Now, at the age of nineteen, she is just trying to live a normal life, which is hard for a teenage girl living on the streets of the biggest city in the world, Setidome. Then, everything gets flipped around when she gets used for one Brokenstoke's filthy little games. Adriana Russel has been with the Usindile since the revolution failed; literally. Her mother was part of the original and was captured and sent to the island. Adriana though, was kept safely in the hands of her mothers good friend, a women named Jenneiah. So, when she gets a peek at the Brokenstoke's newest prisoner, she is dead set on the fact that it is her daughter. So, Adriana sets out to go and bring her back. **** This is two seperate stories that will merge together around the ending. No, it is not a gxg story.

Centuries after the Fall, the United States has been wiped away. The crumbling remains of the great American empire are home now only to savage, lawless tribes and packs of ravening Damned-the twisted children of the apocalypse. Most of those few who survived humanity's destruction spend their short lives in a violent struggle for survival. But some light still flickers in the darkness: the Blessed of Bountiful live in seclusion, relying on walls both physical and spiritual to protect them from the Desolation that their world has become. Among them are the Saints, those few men and women born with superhuman abilities that the Blessed see as gifts from God. The violent apostate tribes of the Northeast Kingdom have always been a danger, but up until recently its small size and the vigilance of its people have made Bountiful an unappealing target. As attacks on the community grow harsher and more frequent, however, even the steadfast Blessed are forced to start preparing for the worst. With her home's very existence threatened, seventeen year old Ever Oaks, a Saint with the power to heal, is forced to make a difficult choice, one that may come to define her people's future... Exile was a semi-finalist in Mark Lawrence's Great Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (#SPFBO). Fantasy Faction said it was "extremely cool," and Bookish Lifestyle called it "more than just a story, a journey and an experience." When I'm asked about it, I often describe it as "X-Men meets The Walking Dead." In addition to reading it here for free, you can buy Exile in e-book or paperback on Amazon.com.
