There is this girl named Shane who just has a messed up life. Her parents are either never around or sit in there room and get high and pretend she doesn't exist. Than she has this boyfriend who she clings too because she needs someone in her life to be stable. Turns out he's not what she thinks.
Than there is the new guy. Harry Styles. He becomes friends with Shane but quickly realises she's hiding something from him. And the way she acts around her boyfriend is unusual. She almost seems scared of him.
