Elizabeth-Rose lives in a mending society, all mothers, fathers and their children were put in the convergence zone where they live in complete limbo. 200 teenagers are taking a test, making history, to choose a faction and start a new life after the trauma of the war. Elizabeth learns about how different the world is and the dark side of the new Chicago. This is what happened before Divergent.
