Kei has always had a hard time making friends and dealing with her feelings. She never knew her mom very well and her dad is overseas. She takes care of her and her sister by herself.

So when she is protecting her sister from attackers. She gets taken instead. Her kidnapper is kinda weird though. Like not what you think a kidnapper would do weird.

Instead of using her for money or raping her. He treats her with kindness and acts like she's royalty. Will she start to fall for this strangely attractive man that kidnapped her? And will she learn about, maybe a family secret, or something?

Warning: This story contains a mental disorder called Stockholm syndrome. This disorder causes someone who was kidnapped to have positive feelings, such as love, towards their captor.

Most people would call my life perfect and I used to agree. I have wonderful and supportive parents and a hot, soon to be pro athlete, boyfriend. I have been described as beautiful, smart, and funny. I would say I had it all. I am currently going to school at Harvard, but l'm doing study abroad at Oxford. Going to Oxford changed a lot of things for me, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle or fix. No, the real problems started when I decided to take one day off to explore London. I started my day off with coffee and ended it with a few stalkers. That's the exact moment my life came crashing down. It feels like I was walking on cloud nine. One second I was floating and the next I'm crashing. All because of Niall Horan. Everything I thought I knew is wrong. How can one man do so much damage to my life? Everything I have learned in my psychology classes are keeping me afloat, especially my recent study of Stockholm Syndrome. What happens when you spend your whole life in the sky? You can't go any higher, which means you can only go down. *** "Can someone who suffers from Stockholm Syndrome truly fall in love with their captor?" Professor Dunham asks. "No. Stockholm Syndrome is your brain coping with the trauma you are experiencing. You can't love someone just because they decide not to kill you." I answer with no hesitation. "And how do you treat Stockholm Syndrome?" Professor Dunham asks like it is a tricky question. My classmate jokingly says, "lots and lots of therapy." Not satisfied with my classmate's answer I add by saying, "and never judge or give advice. You have to help the victim on their own terms and avoid polarization. They see the captor as the one who kept them alive. They won't see the bad right away." *** All ideas and concepts come from my own mind. Do not use any of my ideas. K? Thanks! And there will be swearing, alcohol and drug use, and sexual themes throughout the story.

Lyra knew that one day she would be set into an arranged marriage like a chess piece. She had been preparing for it her whole life, and she was almost alright with her fate. But she never thought that her father would choose the man that he did. That decision changed everything. The King of Whales is ruthless, more than twice her age and surrounded by tainted gold and loads of unsavory rumors. There have been many wives of his before Lyra, with no explanations to the untimely deaths of the previous five. With each dead Queen came more money from their kingdoms, straight into the King's portly lap. Disguised as a young man, Lyra runs from her duty as the only Princess of Nordic. She cuts her hair, takes her steed and disappears into the night with her father's men hot on her heels. Enter Kaladin's team. Occupation: Mercenaries. Lyra uses skills taught to her by a close, childhood friend and plays herself into the trust of the dangerous strangers until they accept her, or rather, "Navani", into their group. What will happen to her once they see through her web of lies and tricks? Will Lyra give herself up as Princess when she is reunited with her long-lost friend, or will she carry on as a boy with the mercenaries? Follow Lyra to see what she will do when she comes to realize that things have gotten far too big for her to handle on her own. There are assassin's out for her head, king's thirsting for her blood, and an underground network of people who live for her ruin. But there is also an unlikely Prince to defend her, who has some tricks of his own to rely on. The Princess soon sees that she is not nearly as alone as she may have once thought. What will Lyra do when she comes to terms with her destiny? Will she face it this time with her new friends, or will she chose to run away again? Cover made by @-rebellixus-

This story is under heavy editing! The plot did change a bit because I recently had new ides and I'm very positive I can finish this soon. I will put up the first episodes soon <3 Plot: Hanna and Chanyeol were best friends since they were little kids. They loved and hated each other likewise and one thing was clear: For Hanna, Chanyeol was irreplaceable and needed in life. With nothing to zero confidence in life he was her booster and lifeline. But what happens when Chanyeol has to leave to study abroad? Instead of writing, texting or calling each other her best friend just left...without looking back. Broken and traumatized about the sudden separation Hanna was sure of one thing. Trust no one, because in the end everyone will leave you anyway without looking back! Now almost 10 years gone by before Hanna is faced again with the one and only Park Chanyeol but as if that wasn't enough theres something that surfaces slowly which will add even more problems, pressure and fear to her already broken state.... Warnings/reminder: This is a fanfiction and nothing here is real. Theres no supernatural things happening BUT even though theres are trigger warnings for mental health Kidnaping Bad words Sexual contet Abuse (Child abuse too) Trauma I'm no doctor or something. I won't assume how this illness that I try to portray is for someone but it will be portrait how I think it could happen. I will probably use a fiction word to refer to the illness so nobody feels weird about it. So please have this in mind <3
