"I am so upset." lasing na wika ni Ridge mula sa isang tawag.

"Why are you upset, Ridge?" tanong naman ni Dawn pabalik habang siya ay nakahanda nang matulog dahil malalim na ang gabi.

"Because I am not Chinese."

Nangunot ang noo ni Dawn. Hindi niya matindihan kung bakit naglasing ang binata dahil lamang hindi siya Chinese.

"You are drunk because you are not Chinese?" natatawang wika niya.

"Yes. Would you love me if I am not one?"

Hindi naman siya makasagot. He really is drunk.

"Ridge, you sleep. You're so drunk."

She heard him tsked. "Drunk or not, I know to myself that I am in love with you, Dawn." everything was so silent. "And Dawn, I can feel that it might be you, the woman I would shed tears when she wanted me out of her life." and the line went off.
