This is a catharsis for me because I was beginning to show signs of CWS and needed to get the X Files out of my head. Hopefully this is my last Fanatic Fiction.

She tries to figure out what the demon wants from her, and how she can help kill it. And now, her nightmares have went from keeping her up for a few hours to scared to even close her eyes. The nightmares are getting more and more vivid as she watches them unfold every night. She can't stand the feeling of helplessness she has to live with now. The jumping at every shadow behind her, the fear of the dark and what lurks inside it, the dread that never leaves, the horror that awaits her every time she drifts off to sleep. Alexis wants it all to stop. But maybe with the Winchester's here to help her, like she's there to help them, it won't be that bad. Or will the shadows overtake Alexis? Will she drown in the darkness? Will that one light that she has burn out? Or will she make it through these dark times? And how is she sure better times wait ahead? Are there?
