Of all elements of a war, perhaps nothing is more enigmatic than the battle for the sky. Metal machines screaming through the air at hundreds of miles per hour, guns blazing as they twist and loop around, fighting for the upper hand, until the loser careens to the ground in a ball of fire. Free of the confines of the war on the ground, these pilots, often overshadowed by the machines they control, develop a world of their own. Follow a handful of pilots from every theatre of the war, as their stories connect and intertwine throughout the massive scope of the Second World War. From a Japanese veteran in the South Pacific, to a German ace over the Eastern Front, to a British recruit defending London, to an American rookie tasting combat over North Africa, Sky Dance tells the war in the air from an international perspective.
