The North and South are still at war and everyone is in a frenzy.
William Bailey is the oldest out of his siblings. He wants to help fight and win the war against the South.
One day he leaves without telling anyone but stays in touch by writing letters to his sister Elizabeth telling her about everything he has witnessed.
Eliza is not content with sitting around the house while her brother is fighting. So, she comes up with her own very risky plan.

My other side was endangered servants from Ireland and my great-great-grandfather was, unfortunately, one of the soldiers that came to Indiana while serving under John Hunt Morgan.
