Beatrice ... Tris Prior. I started out initiation burning with excitement at even the thought of being in Dauntless. It takes you through his journey through initiation on in to leadership. He also develops a love interest that isn't in either the books or the movie. {BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? This story will answer your questions. After her brother, Caleb chooses the enemy Beatrice picks Abnegation to stay with her family and is determined to fit in. Beatrice just wants her life to be normal but some people prevent that from happening. Beatrice will learn that life can't be perfect and she has to accept that there will always be problems. Beatrice and Tobias fight the obstacles that come their way together. There is no war just because it would make everything more complicated and I just wanted to write a fanfic with a happy ending to help me forget about the real ending of the trilogy. Enjoy!
