A boy named Kadir is born in the magical land of Orindale and found to be without magic. The king and queen of Lucaya, Orindale's strongest monarchy, take him in and have him raised in their castle. Under the king's protection, Kadir becomes a weapons expert. When the king flees on the eve of an impending invasion, Kadir dons his magical firearm and marches into battle, his first love by his side. They fight murderous packs of chimeras led by traitorous wizards. In the end, it is Kadir who is sent on a quest to save the kingdom. If he succeeds to protect Lucaya from her enemies, Kadir may regain everything that was ever taken from him-and some. Author Side Note: This story is a nightmare turned to epic fantasy. I hope you enjoy the dark twists and turns as I stay true to the tale that woke me with a scream in a cold sweat.
