The Vietnam War started in November of 1955, lasting until April of 1975. Countless lives were lost as a dreadful consequence. When America interfered in 1965 most people despised it. The soldiers that gave their lives to prevent the growing threat of a Communist World, and were spit on for it. This story follows Elizabeth Barrett and her family as they get swept into a world of war. Elizabeth and her brother enlist while her family fight on the home and hospital fronts. Across the board lives are lost as death leaves a crimson stain in the soil of Vietnam. This may not be an actual family but the events are as real as you and me. JFK was assassinated, soldiers were spat on, and boats where torpedoed to the bottom of the sea.All Rights Reserved
