Given that Wanda was the only person there, and had to give Mary her blood, Mary shared Wandas powers. Only one thing. Mary's real dad happened to be a powerful sorcerer and already had powers. Wanda giving even more power to Mary caused Mary to become overwhelmed...and that's where the story begins.
