Meet Yan He: a Chinese Vocaloid with a quiet voice but a brilliant mind and kind heart. She lives in a world where characters in the second dimension (cartoons and anime characters) coincide with flesh-and-blood humans (fandom characters) in a mixed-up, textured state. Up until now, though, living in the cartoon town of Ippo-Tekina and attending a cartoon school, she's had no need to interact with three-dimensional creatures... until high school acceptance letters bring harsh news. Her only option now is to turn to Queen's Messenger High School, a boarding school consisting almost entirely of fandom characters. What a deal: all the dilemmas of a high school girl coupled with an unfamiliar character style.
