"It was on that night that the sky darkened. Clouds loomed over the small town and liquid began to sprinkle on the ground. The people looked up slowly, horrified. Everyone froze in terror as the the blood enveloped their small houses. Red blurred their visions as screeches of fear shattered the silence. Nobody knew what to do. How were they supposed to react? They were told to prepare for the storm and brace themselves. The government had sent out multiple warnings in advance but no one, not a single person alive, could imagine up the sheer terror that night started. That night was only the beginning of the hell that they were left behind in."

Bond like any other teen, enjoys playing games. Things take a turn for the worst, however, when a game becomes all too real and terrifying. As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. Salt Pillars
The story begins in a rural Nevada town, alternating between multiple different characters, all of which are teenagers at the same high school. It is a typical Monday for most of the students there, until strange sirens kick off the beginning of an unexpected major apocalyptic event, which appears to be a nuclear assault. In the course of the chaos, all of the teachers and supervisors are killed, leaving this group of teenagers to fend for themselves within the darkness of the fallout shelter beneath their school. It isn't until they reach the brink of hunger and self-destruction that they finally leave the shelter and discover that they are the only survivors left in the entire town. The zombie apocalypse started in April. Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. She was 15 years old when it began. Now, she was turning 17 and nothing had gotten better. If anything, everything had become harder. Human extinction was inevitable and the probability of surviving wasn't just slightly possible, it was impossible. Especially when she's alone. You may still like this even if you don't like fantasy. It's more like a normalization of angelic humans. There's plenty of gay adorableness and cuddles. Based in a world in which everyone is an angel and must earn an ability not inherited through family. It seems random but it's not in the slightest. Each matches ones personality. Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair. Pepper is a 15 year old wingless. The last one in his whole grade. Everyone picks on him and hates him for it, but he especially hates himself for it. He lives with his dad that does nothing but abuse him, and he has the biggest identity crisis you'll ever see. Then he meets the gyrokenetic boy Robin.
