The young, seventeen year old Raelyn Conway faced a terrible accident that leaves her trapped between being alive and dead. She soon stumbles upon a runaway princess named Toka, who's parents are the Time Keepers of the universe, and offers Rae help. Together, they go on a quest so that Rae can be entirely alive again.
But...what if more chaos occurs from trying to reach this seemingly normal desire? What happens if it's not meant to be? Is it really worth being alive, once you know the ugly truth?
