It's Not What It Seems

Two successful tycoons, one innocent teacher.

A high school reunion brought the three of them together: two former lovers and the other a cynical third.

Trey came back to his old town that he swore never to set foot ever again when he heard that his old high school is having a high school reunion. He wanted to see if Taylor is still the same woman that he fell in love with - the one who saved him from a downward spiral that almost cost him his life. He dragged along Clayton, his best friend and partner, to see if Taylor can be the one to make that connection that they have been looking for.

Taylor left town, but came back to face her demons and help the kids in town have hope for the future, something that she and Trey were not able to get from the adults who promised to take care of them but only gave them pain and suffering. She reluctantly went to the high school reunion, hoping and dreading that Trey will be there to ease her longing, and give her heart a place to call home.

But Clayton was reluctant. Accustomed to using and being used, he failed to see Taylor's sincerity - on her students as well as on him and Trey. His past continues to haunt him, making him blind to Tailor's offer of love and comfort. His distrust nearly cost him a friend and a lover, and his dark past continues to threaten the empire that his built, as well as the lives of those he holds dear.
