It's easy to make promises. You can promise to treat someone a certain way, you can promise to repay a deed, you can promise never to forget something or someone. When I made a promise, I knew I would keep it, despite the fact that I had made it to a complete stranger. A stranger who had discovered one of my biggest secrets in a matter of minutes.
