Astronomy Class 5th period doesn't actually exist, but after a scheduling error Molly Williams, Sammy Jefferson, Wyatt Henders, and Harry Adams are all placed in the elusive class, they form together, bonding over music tastes to create the Parakeet Marquee a band that doesn't even leave Sammy's bedroom for a whole year. No one thinks that the 4 teens could be anything but a passing obsession, or that they could produce anything deeper than the usual YOLO songs with repetitive meaningless choruses and confusing lyrics. But Parakeet's Marquee is determined to be something more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "It's the Parakeet's Marquee." "Parakeet's Marquee? What in the world is that?" "No, no, you're doing it wrong. Slur Parakeet, like Para-key, and then Marquee, if you say it right it rhymes." "You mean if you say it wrong it rhymes."

(Hamilton College/Band AU) (TRIGGERS: weed, sex toy mention, swearing (I'll add more if I need to) Alexander Hamilton- 19 year old, socially awkward, traumatised orphan from the Caribbean. He's dream finally came true- he got a scholarship to King's College and he's not gonna throw away his shot! John Laurens- 20 years old, has a rich abusive and controlling dad, is a member of a band called The Revolutionary Crew and got into the same college as Alex. He's in the place to be, finally free to do whatever HE wants to do. These two are polar opposites- Alex is a workaholic, John thinks learning is boring, John is a social butterfly, Alex has no friends at all, etc., but both of them share a love for music (that Alex tries to deny). What happens when Alex becomes one of the band members in John's band by accident? Can these two learn something from one another? Or will their differences make it impossible for them to stand each other?
