[An adaptation on the popular game Skyrim, told from the perspective of a new member of the companions]

21 year old Emily has had an interesting past. She never knew her parents, and she was forced to grow up in harsh conditions with a bandit tribe who took her in. 

She grew up stronger than most kids her age, and soon enough was strong as the adult men of the tribe. She got used to how her life was, and didn't have any complaints, until she was asked to take the life of a kid. The bandits had raided a camp, and there were children amongst them. The bandits didn't care.

Emily left the bandits, looking for a more sensible and honorable clan to join, and that's when she heard of the companions. 

Now we follow Emily as she learns her way in the companions and deals with the trials and hardships of being amongst them.

Your role will be a more timid girl who is trained within the companions and that's where she opens up. Playing this as if it's a family, because this is the faction that most acts like it, aside from the brotherhood. Enjoy being the new whelp. Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.

I went from the sporty, loud girl who tried to stay away from Bella's weirdness, to being one of the tribe.
