When Esmeralda Schmidt moves to a boarding school, she's scared. Scared of what may happen to her family while she's gone. Scared of seeing her brother who left to boarding school at just seven years. But most of all, Esmeralda was scared of the populars. As far as she knew, Esmeralda was the complete opposite of them. But then, Esmeralda meets Scarlett Douglass, a popular girl with a movie star face and a model body. She's perfect. At least, Scarlett thinks so. As the two girls meet, an unlikely friendship forms between the two- dragging Esmeralda into a heap of drama.
