With the remnants of humanity now under protection of the Fenrir Corporation due to the emergence of the Aragami - creatures that have gone rampant all over the world, leaving nothing but death and destruction in their wake - the only ones standing between the creatures and the remaining humans are the God Eaters, mercenaries of sorts for the Fenrir Corporation.
These God Eaters are humans injected with Aragami cells, in order to boost both their physical and mental capabilities to a point where they can fight an Aragami without breaking a sweat, sometimes, at least.
Tetsuya Yunokawa, a normal human living with his sister in the Outer Ghetto, a town just outside the Far East Branch, not completely under Fenrir's protection, has his life turned upside down when he discovers that he has been selected as a candidate for the Far East Branch's first New-Type God Eater. What will happen to him from now on?
This fictional story is based on the popular video game and anime series "God Eater". Credits to where credits are due.
