Poppy Jameson lives in The Counterpoint Home for Children because she holds a powerful gift that terrifies her family - the ability to manipulate fire. She finds a magical world in woods behind Counterpoint. The Island is a world that accepts her and the dangerous gift she has. Aside from her family, only one other person has witness Poppy in her most dangerous state, which brings out The Odium Flames, a black ball of fire that burns hotter than anything in existence. With no guidance, Poppy struggles to control her gift. It's not until she finds The Island that she finds people just like herself - people who can help guide her.

(I am new to Wattpad. I'm still writing this story so I'll update this content as I write. While this story has no sexual content, it does involve inappropriate language at times and teenage behaviors.)
