"Please August." Codie sobbed. August turned, his eyes red, "Why?" "August..." Codie was interrupted by his strong words. "Why'd you tell me everything was okay if it wasn't." August breathed through tears. "Everything was fine it just...." Codie stumbled, she knew it wasn't the truth. August's face was filled with what could only be described as disgust, "No. No you can't be serious," He paced the floor, "Codie you've been lying to me for 3 months." He choked. "I love you." She whispered as her hands held his face and the back of his neck, as if he would run away. He squeezed his eyes shut, imagining all of the memories they had together before pulling slowly out of the crying girls embrace. He wiped a stray tear off her fair skin and with a muffled sob, he rubbed her tears off on his fading sweater. She regretted letting go of him. He ran away.
