A short story I created using the prompt: Coach discovers Danny's arm after his parent's split early in the season (you could interpret it any way you'd like, so I wrote the first thing that came to mind).

As a small boy no one really knew him. He was constantly moving from city to city he felt alone. His mom and dad split only when he was a baby so he didn't know his father and didn't really care but his mother passed so he lived life alone. He moves again but little did he know it would be the last time they moved for a while. He got jobs to keep him in a small apartment and food on his table. A girl who seems to know things about everyone sees him and don't know who he is. She seen him around But doesn't know a thing about him and wants to know exactly who he is. She watches him from a far but what happens when he finds her at every place he goes.Complete

Tears rush down to my cheeks and splatter on the wood floor of Danny's university apartment. He has an imprint on his face from the creases in his pillow and keeps blinking and rubbing his eyes.
