(This is the final book to my Newt x reader series. The first book is 'In These Walls' and the second is 'In the Scorch')
According to WICKED, the trials are now over for the Gladers, but Thomas is locked away in a room and (y/n) hasn't been able to see Newt since they got back from the Scorch. WICKED also promises to give back the memories to the Gladers and reactivate the special qualities each pair of partners had been given. Will their questions finally be answered or will they all have to keep running? (I own none of the characters, only the plot.)

You and the Gladers escaped the maze and are finally free from Wicked's grasp. Everything is perfect. You're fed, given new clothes, given the proper care, but it doesn't last long.
