What Goes Up

Nori Hendricks isn't having it. After a slight... miscalculation in a high stakes case, he's been bumped down a rank and slapped with a shiny new partner - William Keirk. He can't go a day without bickering with his higher ups, and his newest responsibility can't pull the stick out of his ass long enough to for them to get any real work done.

The only thing more stressful than Liam's new partner is the idea of messing up at his new job, and crawling back to his stuck up parents and admitting they were right. So what if Nori's short fuse threatens to set off Liam's own short-leashed anger? He's got a life to get to, and a goal to accomplish. Even if that short fuse has one of the best asses he's ever seen, Liam isn't budging.

But when a simple investigation goes all sorts of wrong, the two of them have to figure out exactly what they're willing to give up to make it through this case - even if it means coming together in the least expected way.
