Lara Anderson has kept her origin a secret from everyone, and no one knows what she is. That's the way she likes it. For a long time she has been greatly atoning for a past that she is ashamed of. She is ultimately repulsed by the thought; strictly keeping to business between the two of them, but they just can't keep their urges under control around one another.
