Eve McDough is an impulsive, frankly alarming, but a brave one. Her life is almost perfect because her family is a millionaire but at least they're keeping it a secret and she lives her life in the simplest way anyone at her age couldn't ever do. However, she doesn't seem to care at all whether or not she's making the right choices. Regardless of her age, she decided to live on her own and moved to a town called Hugworth. She's been dreaming of becoming a detective. On her way home one cozy afternoon, she found a group of people and police cars in a nearby mini forest from their house. Being too curious, she went to the crowd to see what was going on. A girl was found dead. Now that there is a case in their town, she would certainly push herself into it whatever happens just to live her dream.
On the other hand, an 18-year-old guy named Porter Donovan who is a sickly but witty and handsome guy will cross Eve's life in a most unfriendly manner. Neither of them knew that they'd need each other to solve the mystery behind the murder case in town. Since it is summer, the two will clandestinely try to discover so many things including the murderer without the help of the authorities. But this time, Eve's choices might put their lives at risk. While they're carrying out their plan, a guy named Ryland Cotton would just appear out of nowhere. Whoever he is, Eve has got to use her instinct to find out.
One wrong choice can change everything. Would they ever find out the answers to all the mysteries? Everything would depend on the choices they will make.
